Steward Taylor was First Class Bedroom Steward on RMS Titanic.

Taylor was 5′ 8″ (1.72 m) tall, white male. He had short, red hair and blue-green eyes.

Following the collision with the iceberg, Steward Taylor knocks on the passengers doors to awake the passengers telling them to get on the deck and bring lifejackets. One of the rooms he informs the orders belongs to the Allison family.

Later on in Episode four, he is with Chief Officer Wilde who tells him to lock the cabins so any lingering steerage passengers won't break into the cabins. Taylor makes a remark saying: "Might as well go to the thieves as the fishes." However Wilde (despite being portrayed as an antagonist) finds Taylor's remark offensive, telling him "That's exactly the kind of talk we neither want nor need." Taylor only replies with "Yes sir" and proceeds to knock on the doors to see if no one is inside and locks the cabins with a special lock. Unbeknownst to Taylor, Mabel Watson is locked inside her cabin.

Taylor was last scene confronting Kenneth Barnes when Kenneth tries to break the door down to rescue Mabel. He threatens to report him to the White Star Line, but Kenneth tells him that the evidence will only be a "thousand fathoms underwater". After unlocking the door and releasing Mabel, he still tells Kenneth it still didn't give him a right to damage the door, even if he was trying to rescue Mabel.

Steward Taylor most likely died in the sinking of the RMS Titanic.

When Steward Taylor is first seen, his takes his time knocking on the doors of the passengers and telling them to get on deck and get their lifejackets. It is hinted he doesn't think highly of the Steerage passengers by telling Wilde "Might as well go to the thieves as the fishes" which means he could care less about what happened to them. However when Wilde doesn't see any humor in his remark, Taylor acts professionally again and goes to check if the rooms are empty and lock the doors.

However when trying to free Mabel Watson, he comes off as a snob by threating to have Kenneth Barnes reported for spoiling White Star property. Even after having Miss Watson freed, he still informs Barnes that trying to rescue Mabel didn't give him any right to damage the door.
